Recommendation for Vegetarian cook book?

I'm a complete beginner when it comes to cooking. I'm a vegetarian who does not consume any meat. I do consume dairy. I'm looking more for a book that teaches me how to cook rather then just a recipe book. However if anyone knows of a book that complies well with the PN Vegetarian lifestyle I'd also love to hear your recommendations. Looking forward to the help.

Two good threads on this topic.

One

Two

Experience is the best teacher when it comes to cooking. Mimic your friends, family, and favorite cooking shows.

Most of all, you just need to start doing it. Common sense, sharp knives, and a good cook set help too.

Cook books are a great place to get ideas, and are fun to collect too. You can follow them strictly until you become more comfortable in the kitchen and then more as a resource for inspiration.

Good luck

Don

One of the most common questions we get from Precision Nutrition readers is whether we can help them personally. The answer is usually no, and has been for some time. And the reason is simply that there are more people that need help than there are qualified coaches to help them.

But every now and again, we open up a few spots in our coaching programs, and we're now accepting people on the waiting list for our group coaching programs: Lean Eating for Men, and Lean Eating for Women.
